AhlulBayt News Agency: President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Hojatoleslam Ali Emad as his advisor for clerical affairs due to the clergyman’s competence and valuable background.
In a decree issued on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian expressed his expectation that the newly appointed advisor will make efforts to apply the capabilities of religious thinkers to achieve the administration’s objectives in consolidating relationships with the clerical community.
The president referred to the unparalleled role of clergymen and seminaries in the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution and its consolidation, adding that the newly appointed advisor is expected to make every effort to fulfill his responsibilities in line with the Constitution, the 20-Year National Vision Document, the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader, and the Seventh Development Plan.
Pezeshkian also urged him to adhere to the ethical codes of the National Consensus Administration and to strengthen systematic communications between the 14th administration and the seminaries by providing insightful advisory opinions, leveraging the capacities of religious experts, and utilizing various promotional tools.
